Conference is Postponed
We regret to inform you that due to the aggressive spreading of the coronavirus worldwide, after lengthy consideration and discussions, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to postpone the conference: “Extreme Galaxies and their Extreme Environments as Probes of Galaxy Formation”. Please see the main home page of the conference for more details.
What follows is no longer valid given the postponement (see above)
The registration for the conference was February 15th and is now officially closed.
If you have not been e-mailed individually about a late registration and would like to inquire about the possibility or registering, please contact the conference administrators at extremegalaxies.conf@gmail.com
The deadline for the registration was Feb 15th. You need to have registered by this date to attend the conference unless you received special permission for late registration. There are later deadlines for the fee payment that are in addition to the registration deadline. You must register and pay the fee to finalize your conference attendance.
The conference fee includes the use of the hotel conference facilities, coffee breaks, the welcome cocktail and the poster cocktail.
The early registration conference fee is 43000 ISK and needs to be paid by March 1st.
The normal registration conference fee is 50000 ISK and needs to be paid by March 20th.
The fee for the social dinner is 7000 ISK. Children are welcome at the dinner. Children 6-12 will be charged 3500 ISK and children under 6 years of age will eat for free.
In the meantime, to finalize your registration, you need to fill in this form AND proceed with the payment through bank transfer. The details are as follows:

Please, use the same link also to pay the dinner for each guest you might have. If you are bringing kids between 6-12 yo, the dinner is 3500 ISK and you can pay it at the restaurant.
After you fill in the payment form, a page appears telling you the payment is successful and ~1 minute later you get a confirmation email. There is no additional fee for the credit card payment.

Please indicate your name and what you are paying for. Most people will fall into one of the following categories, assuming early/late registration fees: registration fee + dinner (50000/57000ISK), dinner only (with an SOC-approved fee waiver; 7000ISK), registration fee only (43000/50000ISK). You must also include in your payment money for any guests you will be bringing to the dinner. Please put the appropriate description of your payment in the explanatory note of the bank transfer.
